Excellent game. As you probably know, it's basically a top-down version of Terraria or Minecraft, but in my opinion vastly superior to both. Minecraft has hideous visuals, while Core Keeper is beautiful to look at. Terraria has the infuriating issue of being CONSTANTLY bombarded by enemy attacks, always preventing you from doing what you are trying to do. Core Keeper, conversely, is much more respectful of the player, typically allowing you to engage enemies on your own terms. It's also easier to prevent enemies spawning where you don't want them to be. So you have the freedom to build a house, craft items, farm animals and plants, and cook food without being constantly bothered (unless you set up your base in a spot with a lot of enemy spawn tiles, but you can remove those to "cleanse" it anyway as mentioned above).

” — which is a rare quality in a genre that can be encumbered by many archaic rules and difficult-to-navigate screens. I also love those types of games, but I appreciate the streamlined simplicity of Core Keeper

These three statues represent the first three bosses that you'll have to take on: Glurch, Ghorm, and Malugaz. Before we worry about them, though, we'll want to start cleaning up the immediate area.

Engaging and exciting, Core Keeper is a perfect example of development and creativity. In addition to keeping you completely glued to the screen, with 1.0 it dramatically increases the hours that someone could spend inside it, thus allowing the player passionate about video games of this caliber to lose track of time.

I’m not convinced Core Keeper can match the quality and scope of its best-in-class inspirations, but it’s already worth a look in Early Access, and if the rest of the pieces fall into place leading up to the full launch, it’ll be fondly remembered. [Early Access Review]

Players can farm most skills with various AFK methods, to gain earlier advantage from some stronger buffs and useful talents. However, this is unnecessary in a normal playthrough. Especially since skill levelling was made substantially quicker in the 0.5 Desert Update.

Ghorm is a gigantic worm that goes around the center of the map in a circle; it won't stop to fight you until you can do enough damage to it. I recommend having Iron equipment along with a bow in order to hurt it in the small window where it passes by a part of its tunnel.

And there's nothing that makes me feel more at home in a game than fishing, farming, and cooking, and they're all great in Core Keeper. Fishing works almost like a rhythm game, with each fish struggling to its own "beat.

Can i run it on win7? Game don't launch. Pelo error messages or something. Nothing at google except recommendations of updating windows and video drivers.

3. RNG - While RNG isnt the worst on Melee or Ranged, because you can get Core Keeper Gameplay items from crafting, the fact that you cannot do the same for Magic or Summon, makes for a really painful expierience. There needs to be a crafting bench for magic classes, just to reduce the absolute grind that players who choose to play that dmg type would have to suffer through.

Next, we want to focus on getting Copper Ore so we can make Copper armor, weapons, and tools. Getting your hands on a ranged weapon is a must, too; some of the early-game enemies can hit pretty hard!
